“High Pressure Thermoplastic Technology” also called polycarbonate/ABS.
Thermoplastic is a plastic that is formed in an injection mould. For this, plastic granules are heated and pressed under high pressure into a CNC-milled mold of the outer shell of a helmet.
Then the mold (which consists of two parts) is opened. This makes the "rim" visible on the helmet, where the well-known myth comes from that an outer shell consists of two halves.
So this is not the case. The edge created after opening the mold is neatly sanded away.
Safety

quick release

This helmet is equipped with a quick release.
The metal buckle can be attached to a high-quality seat belt. The other strap has a ribbed plastic tab. Insert the ribbed plastic tab into the metal buckle. You will hear a slight clicking sound. Continue sliding until you have a comfortable, snug fit. Pull the ribbon to release the lever. For additional initial adjustment, use the metal slide buckle on the strap with the ribbed plastic tab to take up excess strap.
Visor

LS2 visors are made with a 3D optically correct 'A grade' polycarbonate, a polymer with a high resistance to impact, which avoids distortion and offers maximum clarity.
The visors are also scratch resistant and offer protection against UV radiation.
Fit

To be sure of good protection, the helmet must fit perfectly on your head.
The shape of the shell therefore requires extra attention, as does the material of the helmet to minimize the effect of a possible impact in the event of a fall.

The key to achieving a perfect fit from the outside in is in the scale and the adjustment of the liner, which should closely approximate the shape of the human head.

Ventilation system

LS2 helmets have dynamic flow ventilation.
The fully customizable front and top vents, combined with the breathable EPS liner,
work in tandem with the rear extractors to generate a constant flow of air to
keep the rider cool and comfortable.
